(BRAMAN) We take this commitment very seriously, and have instituted many policies and procedures to insure that your privacy rights are safeguarded.  As required by law, the following describes how BRAMAN websites collect public and non-public personal information, how the information is disclosed, and your rights. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.  Please review this information carefully.

What information does BRAMAN collect?

As part of providing you with our products and services, we may obtain ?personal information? about you from the following sources:

Information we receive from you on credit applications or other forms; and

Information about your transactions with us; and

Information provided by you on our site; and

Information we receive from the consumer/credit reporting agencies.

When entering information on this web site, it is transferred automatically to a GMBuyPower Manager so that your inquiry may be answered promptly by a qualified representative.  Once you have expressed interest in being contacted, the GMBuyPower Manager will respond through a personalized email or phone call.  After the initial email contact, there may be several points of communication between you and the GMBuyPower Manager by either telephone or email. At any point in the relationship you have the option of indicating by either telephone or email that you no longer wish to be contacted by the GMBuyPower Manager. In this event, your name is removed from active status.

Cookies

BRAMAN websites use a technology called "cookies".  In most cases, you can set your web browser to prompt you when a cookie request is being made from a web page, and you have the option to accept or not.  Accepting cookies in no way gives us access to your computer or any personal information about you. It is merely a method of storing information to improve your online experience.  Note that personal information is often contained in or linked to a cookie (such as email address, zip code, etc.). The only time that BRAMAN websites receive such information is if you volunteer it by typing in the information. The use of the personal information is limited to being contacted by the GMBuyPower Manager as described above, or, for obtaining financing if you request.

BRAMAN considers the information you choose to share with us personal and confidential. We will not rent or sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal information to any third party without your permission, except as may be required by law.

Personal information you provide to us in the course of requesting a product or service through this website may be gathered and stored in our database and subject to applicable legal restrictions in one or more other associated corporate databases and be used for purposes of contacting you for things like promotional offers, marketing programs, or other communications from this website or other associated websites.

We may share personal information with Cadillac USA and its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as other affiliated manufacturers, who in turn may share personal information that you provide to BRAMAN as permitted by applicable federal or state personal information sharing restrictions. This sharing may be desirable in order to honor your request for a price quote on a vehicle, to provide information for purposes of contacting you in the regular course of business and for other permissible uses.

For example, this site integrates an on-line financing application to provide you with specific financial services that you may request. Be sure to review their privacy statement prior to providing personal or financial data.

Children?s Privacy

BRAMAN does not intend to collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If a child has provided us with personal information a parent or guardian of that child may contact us (contact information shown below) if the parent or guardian wants the child's information deleted from our records. We will then make reasonable efforts to delete the child's information from the database that stores information for BRAMAN.

Does BRAMAN provide a way to update or remove personal information?

A customer wishing to change, update, or remove personal information may do so by contacting their GMBuyPower Manager either by email or telephone and stating their wishes at any time. The GMBuyPower Manager contact information can be found in the initial email response you received from our dealership or general contact information is available at the bottom of this page.

Your Consent

As a condition to using the BRAMAN websites, we require your approval to collect this data. By visiting the BRAMAN websites you agree that we may collect and use this information as stated in our privacy policy.

Changes in the Privacy Policy

If we decide to materially change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this page so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

Applying for a Loan

At BRAMAN, we take your privacy very seriously. We know that information about you and your finances are sensitive. As we point out in the Consent Statement you must read before submitting a credit application, your credit application is submitted to Braman Cadillac, Inc. Only duly authorized and qualified personnel at the dealership have access to your credit application. We will ask you for your contact information, such as name, address, phone, and email address; your financial information, such as monthly income, amount of debt, monthly rent or housing payment; and sensitive information such as date of birth and social security number.

By submitting your credit application, you are giving consent to Braman Cadillac, Inc. at the beginning of the application process to investigate your credit and employment history. A credit report may be obtained, in connection with this application, for a renewal or extension of credit for which application was made. Upon request, you will be told if a credit report(s) was/were obtained, and given the name and address of the credit reporting agency(ies) providing the report(s). Your credit information may be shared with third party lending institutions, which have a business relationship with Braman Cadillac, Inc. for the purpose of providing auto loans.

Once you have completed and submitted the credit application, you will be presented with a "Thank You" page, which discloses the address and phone number of Braman Cadillac, Inc. It is suggested that you print this page by pressing the print button on your browser. In the event that you have any questions or concerns regarding your credit application, please contact the dealership and ask for your GMBuyPower Manager.

Information we collect

We collect nonpublic personally identifiable information about you and other applicants for many reasons, including to help identify you, evaluate your application, service and manage your Lease or Loan (''Account'') and broaden our relationship with you (such as by offering you products or services that you may find valuable). We collect this information from a number of sources, including the following:

Information provided by you on Account applications and other forms, including identifying information such as address, telephone number, e-mail address, social security number, date of birth and credit information such as income and employment.

Information obtained through your transactions and relationships with us, our affiliates and others, such as items purchased, payments, payment method, and information provided on customer service and collections calls.

Information provided by credit bureaus and similar companies, such as your account and payment history with other lenders. We may receive a copy of your credit report and all financial information contained therein.

Information provided by other third parties, such as demographic firms, in connection with marketing programs.

Information obtained online, including from ''cookies'' (small pieces of data stored by your Internet browser on your computer) or other technology that may be used to remember passwords for you, to track your website usage with us, and to provide you with customized content, among other things.

We provide information to third parties (including our affiliates) to assist us in servicing Accounts, like preparing billing statements and promotional materials, administering and enforcing our Accounts and responding to customer inquiries. We also may use marketing firms to assist us in our own marketing efforts. Any of these third-party service providers may use customer information to perform contracted services at our request.

We also disclose information about you to third parties in certain other circumstances, as permitted by law.

Our Commitment to Security

The security of customer information is very important to us and we take a number of steps to safeguard it. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard non-public personal information about you.
